ASC Week | Be a Superhero in Health and Community!

What is ASC Week?

Each year, we celebrate ASC Week (aka. Ambulatory Surgery Center Week). We use this week to acknowledge and recognize our incredible team members, our physicians – and give back to the communities we serve.
Since opening our doors in 2016, the Surgery Center at Easton has worked to transform the outpatient orthopedic surgical experience by offering a convenient and personalized alternative to the hospital setting. Our efforts have earned us the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission and more importantly, thousands of positive outcomes for our patients.

Be a Superhero!

This year our theme is “Be a Superhero in Health and Community!” – and we are excited to once again partner with I Know I Can, a non-profit organization designed to inspire, enable and support Columbus City Schools students in pursuing and completing a college education. (Last year, we raised nearly $3,000 which the organization was able to use to provide critically-needed WiFi hotspots for CCS graduating seniors without access.)
“I Know I Can is truly grateful for the continued generosity of the Surgery Center at Easton,” says Julie Kriss, executive director of development and public relations. “The Surgery Center’s support has enabled IKIC to provide additional services to meet students’ needs during these uncertain times. Funds raised last year helped to provide WiFi hotspots to high school students, critical technology for college students, and personal hygiene kits to more than 1,000 Columbus City Schools students. Additional funds raised through ASC Week will help to support high school students in Learning Extension Centers throughout Columbus as school begins virtually.”
